made in Belgium

I believe in good craftsmanship and local production with fair wages.

Therefore all pieces are made and produced in Belgium by a manufacturer who shares my environmental and social concerns. 

I´m happy to collaborate with Ida C., who is located in Antwerpen. Ida has worked since more than 30 years as a knitwear programmer and is a passionate knitter with a deep interest and knowledge of the latest knitwear technology. 

Her knowledge, input and feedback shapes the pieces and makes them top-quality. We are working very closely together in developing swatches and bringing the garment alive.

 

It is important for me that all designs are fully fashioned. That means that all pieces are knitted in shape and assembled by hand on a linking machine. Thanks to this way of working we save resources and have no leftover material.
